Joe from EC Credit Control was our guest speaker and Debbie Charlwood won the lucky door prize.
Special guest speaker former Test Kangaroo, State of Origin Player, Premiership winner and Clive Churchill Medal receipient Luke Priddis gives us his tips on success in business from what he has learnt from his career as a top level league player and now financial planner and founder of the Luke Priddis foundation which assists families affected by autism.
We were treated to a fabulous Christmas lunch by one of our newest members Nicole and her staff from The Bridge Restaurant & Bar at Woronora. Thanks again to our major sponsors Club Central Menai and Bank of Queensland Menai.
The Menai & Sutherland Districts Business Chamber kicked of fund raising for the memorial today and presented Mayor Kent Johns a cheque for $1,000.00 along with Bangor local Peter Raue Lt Col (Ret)
Jon & Jane put on a great breakfast this morning at the Boat Shed Woronora and Craig Doyle from the SSED gave us an insight on how they can help your business.
At our AGM Andrew Manson was reelected as President, Troy Wasson was reelected as Vice President, Jon Bell was reelected as Treasurer, Bibiana Beaupark was elected as Secretary and Jeff Parker has offered his services again on the working committee.
We are still looking for 4 more members to be on the committee.
The Menai & Sutherland District’s Business Chamber has been named a finalist for the second year in a row.
Winners will be announced at the South Eastern Sydney Business Awards Gala Dinner, held on Friday 25 July at MV Bella Vista, Sydney Harbour.
Taking in the Sydney CBD, Bondi and the Eastern Suburbs; Surry Hills, Redfern, Alexandria, Newtown and the Inner West to Balmain and Leichhardt; Hurstville, Kingsgrove and the Sutherland Shire in the south; the South Eastern Sydney Business Awards celebrate business excellence across a number of diverse regions of Sydney.
Winners from each category in the South Eastern Sydney Business Awards proceed as finalists to the NSW Business Chamber State Awards, to be announced at the State Gala Dinner on 28 November 2014 in Sydney.
33 members & guests enjoyed lunch with Federal Member for Hughes Craig Kelly & guest speaker Louise Taylor who showed us the power of the mind.
118 members & guests made our March luncheon an outstanding success raising just over $800 each for Kookaburra Kids & Sutherland Rotary. Peter FitzSimons had the crowd in stitches & Club Central Menai were outstanding hosts.
